Agreement Between User and Culture Revisited LLC

Welcome to culturerevisited.com. The culturerevisited.com website (the “Site”) is operated by Culture Revisited LLC (“Culture Revisited,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Your access to and use of this Site, including the purchase of products, booking of services, registration for training programs, and use of any associated online services, is conditioned upon your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully and retain a copy for your records.

Purpose of the Site

Culture Revisited LLC provides microlocs and natural hair services, educational services and training programs, and related products and resources.

Privacy

Your use of culturerevisited.com is also subject to Culture Revisited LLC’s Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how personal information may be collected, used, stored, and disclosed.

Electronic Communications

Visiting culturerevisited.com, booking an appointment, submitting an online form, registering for a training program, or communicating with Culture Revisited LLC electronically constitutes electronic communication.

You consent to receive communications electronically where permitted by law, including appointment-related notices, confirmations, reminders, policy notices, receipts, and responses to inquiries.

Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

SMS Communications and Marketing Consent

Culture Revisited LLC may offer individuals the opportunity to receive SMS communications, including operational updates, booking and availability information, schedule and waitlist updates, service announcements, class and training information, promotions, and other marketing communications.

Marketing text messages will be sent only to individuals who have provided the required consent or otherwise affirmatively opted in where applicable.

Consent to receive SMS marketing communications is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing products, booking services, registering for training, receiving services, or otherwise doing business with Culture Revisited LLC.

By voluntarily opting in to receive SMS marketing communications, you authorize Culture Revisited LLC to send text messages to the mobile telephone number you provide.

Message frequency may vary depending on business updates, availability, services, classes, and promotions. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan.

You may withdraw your consent and opt out of SMS marketing communications at any time by following the opt-out instructions included in the message, including replying STOP where applicable.

Opting out of SMS marketing communications does not prevent Culture Revisited LLC from sending non-marketing communications that may be reasonably necessary regarding an existing appointment, transaction, service request, account matter, policy notice, or other business-related communication.

Culture Revisited LLC may use Squarespace and associated messaging service providers to facilitate SMS communications. Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and consent records are handled in accordance with Culture Revisited LLC’s Privacy Policy.

Accounts and Information Provided

If you create an account or otherwise provide information through the Site or scheduling platform, you are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate and current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials under your control and for restricting unauthorized access to your account.

Culture Revisited LLC reserves the right to decline, cancel, restrict, or discontinue access to services, appointments, training programs, or accounts when reasonably necessary, including where booking requirements are not satisfied or established policies are violated.

Identification Requirement (Prospective Clients & Training Participants)

Culture Revisited LLC may require prospective clients and training participants to provide valid government-issued photo identification before certain consultations, services, training programs, or other bookings may be confirmed or provided.

Identification may be requested for identity verification, safety, security, enrollment, and related administrative purposes associated with the requested service or program.

For routine identity verification, clients may redact information that is not necessary to confirm identity, including home address, identification or document number, barcode, signature, and similar information. The individual’s name, photograph, and expiration date must remain visible unless otherwise instructed.

Culture Revisited LLC reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking when required identification is not provided or cannot reasonably be verified.

Individuals who do not wish to provide requested identification should refrain from booking services, consultations, or training programs for which identity verification is required.

Identification and other information submitted through our scheduling platform are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable privacy practices of our service providers.

Appointment, Intake, and Booking Requirements

Certain services, consultations, and training programs may require completion of intake forms, acknowledgments, waivers, consultations, deposits, identification requirements, or other booking requirements before an appointment or registration is considered complete.

By submitting required booking forms or acknowledgments, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Policies, acknowledgments, and disclosures presented during the booking process form part of the terms applicable to the particular appointment, service, or program.

Service Policies

Clients are responsible for reviewing and following applicable booking, cancellation, maintenance, preparation, payment, and aftercare policies provided by Culture Revisited LLC.

Culture Revisited LLC may establish service-specific policies reasonably necessary to protect client safety, maintain scheduling efficiency, preserve the integrity of services provided, and maintain a professional business environment.

Failure to comply with applicable policies may result in additional fees, modification of services, cancellation of an appointment, or discontinuation of services where appropriate.

Payments, Deposits, Reservation Fees, and Refunds

Prices, deposits, reservation fees, and payment requirements may vary depending on the service, product, consultation, or training program selected.

Any non-refundable deposit or reservation fee will be identified at or before booking.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, reservation fees and non-refundable deposits are not refundable.

Product returns, exchanges, or credits are subject to the return policy disclosed at the time of purchase.

Culture Revisited LLC reserves the right to decline pending, incomplete, reversed, disputed, or otherwise unconfirmed payments.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, no-show, and related policies are provided during the booking process and may vary by appointment or service type.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the policies associated with their booking before confirming an appointment.

Children and Minors

The Site is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

Culture Revisited LLC does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian involvement where required.

Individuals under 18 may use certain services only with the permission or involvement of a parent or legal guardian where applicable.

Third-Party Services

Certain functions available through culturerevisited.com are provided by third-party service providers, including services related to website hosting, online scheduling, payment processing, SMS messaging, communications, analytics, and other business operations.

By using those functions, you acknowledge that information necessary to provide the requested service may be processed by those service providers in accordance with their applicable privacy practices and contractual relationship with Culture Revisited LLC.

The Site may also contain links to third-party websites. Culture Revisited LLC does not control and is not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content available through the Site—including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, educational materials, downloads, designs, course content, branding, and other original materials—is owned by or licensed to Culture Revisited LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, transmit, sell, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise commercially exploit protected Culture Revisited LLC content without prior written authorization.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to the user.

Training and Educational Materials

Materials provided as part of a class, intensive, masterclass, workshop, consultation, digital program, or other educational offering are intended solely for the registered participant unless otherwise stated.

Course materials, demonstrations, written resources, workbooks, proprietary methods, recordings, photographs, and other instructional content may not be copied, distributed, recorded, resold, uploaded, published, or shared without express written permission.

Any additional training-specific terms presented during registration also apply.

User-Submitted Materials

When you voluntarily submit photographs, feedback, testimonials, documents, intake information, or other materials to Culture Revisited LLC, you retain ownership of your materials except where otherwise expressly agreed.

Submission of materials does not automatically grant Culture Revisited LLC permission to publicly publish or use identifiable photographs, testimonials, or similar content for marketing unless appropriate authorization has been obtained.

Culture Revisited LLC may use submitted information as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, respond to the submission, maintain business records, or satisfy legal obligations.

Personal information submitted through intake forms, identification uploads, SMS opt-ins, or other booking and communication records is handled in accordance with Culture Revisited LLC’s Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site:

• For unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes;

• To interfere with the security or operation of the Site;

• To attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or information;

• To violate intellectual-property or privacy rights; or

• In any manner prohibited by applicable law.

Refusal or Discontinuation of Service

Culture Revisited LLC reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to decline, cancel, or discontinue services or participation where reasonably necessary to protect safety, uphold established policies, maintain professional boundaries, address nonpayment, respond to repeated policy violations, or protect the legitimate interests of the business.

Nothing in this provision permits discrimination prohibited by applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

While Culture Revisited LLC makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from typographical or technical errors.

Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice outside the scope of services Culture Revisited LLC is qualified to provide.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Culture Revisited LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of or inability to access the Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Culture Revisited LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

To the extent enforceable under applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Site may be subject to binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act.

Any arbitration provision will not prevent either party from pursuing relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where arbitration cannot lawfully be required.

To the extent legally enforceable, claims must be brought on an individual basis and not as a member or representative of a class proceeding.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law controls.

Changes to These Terms

Culture Revisited LLC may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, technology, communication methods, or legal obligations.

The updated version will be posted to this Site with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
